Set in a luxurious Miami Beach hotel in the late 1950s, the Starz television drama series "Magic City" centers around fictional Miami mob boss Ike Evans. Cuban cigars, swimming clubs, celebrities, showgirls and milk-white sands provide a picture-perfect facade against the ugly distractions the city has to offer daily.
