Rumor Mill: Kendrick Lamar Fires More Shots At Drake!

Similar to history's 'the shot heard around the world'-- well in Hip Hop, we have the 'verse heard around the world'. That verse being Kendrick Lamar's recent feature on Big Sean's 'Control' track. As noted, Kendrick took aim at his peers such as Meek Mill, Drake, J.Cole, Mac Miller, Pusha T and more. Meek Mill was the only rapper mentioned who seemed to take direct aim back at Kendrick for fun! That is until an apperance from a 'Nothing Was The Same' rapper by the name of Drake.

During his bout of interviews to promote his 3rd solo LP that just released on September 24th, Drake stated that Kendrick's verse didn't effect him. He quoted that it just 'didn't feel genuine'. Well apparently that has not sat well with Mr.Lamar, as Kendrick showed up and showed at this years BET Hip Awards Cypher in Atlanta. Alongside his famed group TDE, Kendrick quotes:

"Yeah…and nothing’s been the same since they dropped “Control”, And tucked a sensitive rapper back in his Pajama Clothes/ Ha-ha jokes on you, high-five…..I’m bulletproof/ Your sh*ts a never penetrate, pin the tail on the donkey boy you been a fake"

Could this seem as a direct shot towards Drizzy, as he did pun on words using the name of Drakes recently released album which sold approximately 658K first week? The bigger question is, will Drake decide to respond? (Weren't these two friends?) The BET Hip Hop Awards airs on October 15th at 8PM EST on BET, where you can catch the shots fired right on your tv screen!
