Drake Grabs The #1 Billboard Spot With 'Nothing Was The Same' Album

A huge congratulations is in order for the most anticipated album of the season from lyrical artist, Drake. As publicly noted, Drizzy just released his third solo album titled 'Nothing Was The Same', and as expected, the new album hits number 1. According to Hits Daily Double, Drake tops billboard charts with approximately 658, 179 units moved in first week sales. That beats out numbers from this years 'Yeezus' and smashes all those records that his peer Nicki Minaj was holding with her expected 350K every album first week.

It's what you've all been waiting for! Possibly known as one of the biggest releases of the year and wrapping up the fourth quarter is Drake's junior LP, Nothing Was The Same. Was anything ever the same? In the world of Drizzy, yes. The NWTS album preparer (which officially releases Sept. 24th), reflects back to last months VMA awards where he just might have spotted his number one fan.
