Fresh off the Nothing Was The Same LP, its catchy melody and summer time vibe mix was just about complete until this week; we receive a remix feature from MMG's own, Rick Ross. Rumor Mill: Kendrick Lamar Fires More Shots At Drake!

Similar to history's 'the shot heard around the world'-- well in Hip Hop, we have the 'verse heard around the world'. That verse being Kendrick Lamar's recent feature on Big Sean's 'Control' track. As noted, Kendrick took aim at his peers such as Meek Mill, Drake, J.Cole, Mac Miller, Pusha T and more. Meek Mill was the only rapper mentioned who seemed to take direct aim back at Kendrick for fun! That is until an apperance from a 'Nothing Was The Same' rapper by the name of Drake.

Drake Grabs The #1 Billboard Spot With 'Nothing Was The Same' Album

A huge congratulations is in order for the most anticipated album of the season from lyrical artist, Drake. As publicly noted, Drizzy just released his third solo album titled 'Nothing Was The Same', and as expected, the new album hits number 1. According to Hits Daily Double, Drake tops billboard charts with approximately 658, 179 units moved in first week sales. That beats out numbers from this years 'Yeezus' and smashes all those records that his peer Nicki Minaj was holding with her expected 350K every album first week.

YMCMB Rapper Drake is next up to make yet another power move outside the realm of music. Already releasing his third studio LP Nothing Was The Same, it seems as if Drake takes in the footsteps of what many celebs have done before, and links up with an NBA Franchise. Just announced today (September 30th), Drake is now the global ambassador for the Toronto Rappers; the hometown city of the 'Pound Cake' lyricist. 

Beating out his fellow Canadian cohorts such as Justin Bieber and Melanie Fiona, Drake will help the team build their credibility back to standing, lend a helping hand in designing

Did You Catch Drake, Travis Scott and Raekwon Live Performance at ALIFE NYC?

Just this weekend, the man of the hour, rapper Drake, made his rounds in New York City. Just releasing his third studio LP Nothing Was The Same, Drake stops by the popular urban street wear brand, ALIFE for a special backyard performance. 

Drake pays homage to the city before ripping cuts such as us 'All Me' after saying 'I'm here for yall, I just wanna fuck with yall. I remember standing in the back corner'. Upon shouting out ALIFE's own Dice, Drake brings out the popular GOOD Music/ Grand Hustle affiliate Travis Scott to perform his hit 'Echelon'.
